I would like to do present preliminary results from AMSR-E and compare them with existing data on sea ice.  With higher resolution and greater spectral range, AMSR-E is supposed to provide the baseline for cryospheric data sets and the means to evaluate the quality of our current historical ice data.  Today, I will try to present preliminary results from recently available AMSR data.
