Instructions for performing cross-validation experiments:

1. Download data files in the forcing_CrossVal.tar directory on the
   website. The data files included in this directory should be added to
   your forcing/AS directory.

2. Change your 'input' file to 'nsite=1' and comment out the EqPac
   dat_prefix. Copy input to input_ABC, input_ABD, input_ACD and
   input_BCD. Within input_ABC, change 'eco_params.in' to
   'eco_params.in.ABD' and do the same for the other three new input
   directories. 

3. A. Within the forcing/AS directory, cp AS_N.ABC to AS_N.dat, cp AS_Z.ABC
   to AS_Z.dat and do the same for P, ST, and PrPr.
   B. Run adjoint_driver < input
   C. Move eco_params.in.new to eco_params.in.ABC

4. Do steps 3A,B,C for 'ABD', 'ACD' and 'BCD'

5. A. Run driver < input_ABC
   B. Move output/AS/AS_N.out output/AS/AS_N_ABC.out, and the same for
   P, Z, ST, and PrPr

6. Do steps 5A,B for 'ABD', 'ACD' and 'BCD'

7. Send me your 20 new *.out files of the form AS_x_y.out for x =
   P,Z,N,ST,PrPr and y = ABC,ABD,ACD,BCD
