Diego is a postdoctoral research associate at the Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO) at Old Dominion University, under the direction of Dr. Eileen Hofmann. His current research is part of the NASA-funded U.S. Eastern Continental Shelf Carbon Cycling project. For his Ph.D. research, he studied the implications of bio-physical factors in driving the dispersion of eastern oyster larvae in Delaware Bay.
